Quartz composite consists of 93% natural minerals and 7% binders. Its non-porous surface makes it highly resistant to heat, cold, external pressure and liquids. Since it is non-porous, liquids cannot be absorbed by the stone, so you don’t have to worry about water stains or the like.

The fact that quartz is an extremely hard stone also makes it very scratch-resistant. You also don’t have to worry about using coasters for hot pots and pans.
